The light soft beige field with delicate palmette and leafy vine around cusped floral medallion with pendants containing rosette centrepiece. Stylised palmette spandrels. in similar design border between open floral stripes. This rug has good pile of soft wool quality and is in very good condition throughout. Ends with pile cartouche kilim and fringes. Selvages original. Fine weave, approx: 8 x 8 knots per sq. cm. Attractive and very elegant piece.
