A Song dynasty jade dish with the same motif, formerly in the collection of Sir Percival and Lady David, is illustrated by B.Gray, 'The Arts of the Sung Dynasty', in Transactions of the Oriental Ceramic Society, vol.32, 1959-1960, no.249, pl.90.

See a related small white jade 'twin-fish' shallow dish, Qianlong, which was sold at Christie's London, 9 November 2010, lot 123.
