A FRENCH NEO-GREC GILT BRONZE MOUNTED WHITE ONYX THREE PIECE CLOCK GARNITURE, BELLE EPOQUE (1871-1914), a standing figure of triumphant cupid finial within anthemion scrolling lid and a leaf encrusted compote on circular foot above a beveled glazed window opening to a gilt mounted dial with white and cobalt enameled Arabic numerals, the clockworks with various inscriptions and numbers 1112, 5 and 8, within two lion's mask mounts with integral handles, on a rectangular gilt bronze trimmed cavetto plinth base, raised on winged and stylized palmette knee splayed buttressed legs terminating in lion's paw feet; together with a pair of four light candelabra with delicately turned onyx bobêches, issued from a central ball standard, ending in ring turned tapered socle and circular cavetto white onyx base to a circular bronze foot, clock height: 19", width: 9 1/2", depth: 7".
Condition Report: Lacking pendulum, unknown working condition, patina, loosened mounts, some surface scratches, surface wear, chips and repairs to bobêches, glue residue, but overall in good to very good condition, wear commensurate with age and use.
