Having a verge escapement and silk suspension movement, with an ebonised case, inlaid in cut brass, surmounted with an urn finial, applied with ormolu throughout, the unique rippled and enameled clock face showing Roman and Arabic numerals, set within an ormolu panel featuring a double headed eagle, raised on four scrolled ormolu feet
