A FRIEDRICH KOECHLI GOLD AND ENAMEL PILL BOX

cylindrical, the round cover enameled with a three-quarters profile of a lady in a twilight landscape, framed by an arch of ivy leaves against a translucent red ground, with cabochon ruby pushpiece, cover initialed TM lower right in enamel; marked with 56 standard and St. Petersburg town cyphers, workmasters marks FR. KOECHLI in Cyrillic and F*K in Latin for Friedrich Koechli to the underside and under cover; diameter: 3.6 cm (1 3/8 in.) weight: 57.73 g (2.04 oz)

CONDITION
The pill box appears in age-appropriate condition. An extremely fine scratch to the enamel, along the right side of the face. Miniscule scuff to the left sleeve. Otherwise, no significant issues apparent to the naked eye. Inspection under UV light shows no apparent signs of restoration.
