the paint-decorated dial inscribed Aaron Willard Boston; interior case door retaining an original Aaron Willard paper label engraved by Paul Revere (1735-1818). feet are replaced.

Condition Report:
Secondary wood is white pine. Partial label inscribed Boston October 29 1807 NLOW ARDLS Clock of $70 NENT Aaron Willard. The waist door slightly warped. Retaining its original cast brass finials and original fretwork, with some cracking and re-glued repairs. The painted dial in overall very good condition. Four areas of inpainting in a square formation adjacent to the winding bolts. One moon faces with dappled areas of inpainting. The base of the case with minor shrinkage crack and wafers added to the bottoms of the front feet. With winding key and door key. Original weights and pendulum.
