With sharply tapering blade (some pitting) double-edged towards the point, the forte with traces of punched foliate decoration against a granular ground on both sides, one side struck with a dagger mark of the London Cutlers' Company above 'L' crowned, and on the other with initials 'TP', finely figured hardwood grip of tapering circular section with turned swelling at the base, punched collar above horizontal quillons with finely punched decoration and each cast in the round as a cherub, pommel with punched foliate border and surmounted by a cherub en suite, and retaining most of its original gilding, in its hard leather scabbard tooled with stars between horizonal lines along the outside and with original gilt locket and chape each with chased foliate border
