Round and smooth Ottoman Damascus barrel in 17 mm calibre with silver front sight on the midrib. At the breech palmette-shaped silver inlays with Ottoman master's mark. The tang with engraved no. 16. Iron cut on a punched background and engraved flintlock with acanthus leaves and scrollwork in relief marked "Nicolaus Koch/In Wienn". Carved walnut full stock with horn nose. The furniture made from fire-gilt bronze bearing relief figural and floral decoration. Ramrod is a replacement. Austria circa 1730, length 50.5 cm. Butt broken.
