A Florentine carved, green painted and parcel-gilt overmantel, 16th century and later, the dentil-moulded cornice above three panels, each flanked by flower and leaf decorated pilasters incorporating mask ornament each headed by a capital, the cushion moulded apron with scrolling leaf decoration, 108cm high, 163cm wide, 16cm deep

Condition Report:
Marks, scratches, abrasions and wear comensurate with age and use. Some likely old re-touching to paint and possible old re-touching to gilding. Various old losses throughout (see images) Various old worm damage, some causing fragmentary losses. There are no mirror plates. From what is visible from the reverse, some timber have been later replaced. Please refer to additional images for visual reference to condition.
