in the form of a tapering lighthouse set on rocky terrain, the annular dial with Roman hours and Arabic minutes.
Height 12 1/2 x diameter 7 1/4 in., 31.75 x 18.4 cm.
Property from the Halim Time & Glass Museum, Evanston, Illinois Clocks, Barometers & Scientific Instruments
At the time of writing, the movement is in working condition but has been restored. The case with restoration as well.
Having a fully functional dial, this clock is modeled after the focal point of French author Jules Verne’s 1905 novel, The Lighthouse at the End of the World.
