A French brass architectural mantel clock, 19th century, the white Roman enamel dial fronting a two-train movement with outside countwheel strike on a bell, stamped 'H.L.F.' and with Japy Fils exhibition mark, numbered 1120, the case with flaming urn and vine fruit finials to the pagoda top, turned columns and flared plinth base, 15in. (38cm.) high.
* Winds and runs. Strikes correctly. Hairlines to dial. Gilt to case worn throughout. Decorated scrollwork panel below dial heavily worn, with only a trace of design remaining.
