A French carved giltwood and upholstered settee in the Louis XV style, 19th century, the Aubusson style upholstery depicting young children in a garden landscape, 141cm wide overall.Condition Report: Marks, knocks, scratches, abrasions, consistent with age and use, numerous chips and losses to the gilt surface revealing underlying composition in places, this is largely but not exclusively to the edges and extremities. There is also wear and rubbing done to the bole in places too, there is dirt and discolouration to the recesses The upholstery with some loose threads and pulls, also areas of wear and loss including a loss of definition to the scenes, the rear with some rips and tears, the springs and webbing to the underside appears more recent and in fair condition overallOverall the frame appears stable,Please see additional images for visual reference to condition Condition Report Disclaimer
