A French flame mahogany wardrobe, late 19th century and later, of architectural form, the stepped cornice with blind frieze drawer, the cupboard door enclosing a hanging rail and high shelf, 183cm high, 120cm wide, 61cm deep

Marks, knocks, scratches, abrasions consistent with age and use, Overall a glossy, polished, appearance - the capitals to the fanking columns appear to be darker stained, again this elements possibly have been associated to the piece, Catalogued as 'late 19th century and later' - this is because this appears to have probably been an escritoire or writing cabinet previously and has been converted to a wardrobe. This appears to have been professionally carried out. The pine boards to the interior are very clean, from the rear they appear to have age - possible thoroughly cleaned during the conversion. The top currently unveneered, the polished pine boards forming a flat top Some chips and losses to veneers, and some old splits and cracks to veneers, mainly to corners of the door, some areas of replacement veneers, The lock with old key and operating at time of report, Please see additional image for visual reference to condition This does not 'break down' it is one solid piece
