The expected old chips and splits. The stitched cover to the seat is later associated. It has some wear and minor fraying. There is a visible stitched join across the centre of the seat. Some old but later dowels to the joins at the top of the legs. Some glue residue visible to the joins of the underside. Stool is structurally solid overall.
