One drawer interior bears a retailers label for FRANK PARTRIDGE (see additional images)Solid mahogany drawer linings, the floor of one drawer with an opened old split (as often seen)One lock is a period replacement. It is smaller than the original aperture cut out for the original lock. There is a key to operate each of the two locks. A sliding panel allows access to the concealed compartment. This does not currently operate well and requires some attention to operate. Some slender supporting elements are likely to be honest replacements/ additions and have been secured with later tacks. Simple attention by a restorer could remedy this as required.
