A GERMAN PORCELAIN FIGURAL GROUP OF A GIRL WITH GOATS AFTER OTTO PILZ (GERMAN 1876-1934), MEISSEN, DRESDEN, 1934-1948

after the 1906 model by Otto Pilz, formed as a young girl in white dress shirt, headscarf, beige skirt with blue stripe, blue-green stockings and clogs, with periwinkle neckerchief, shows tugging at the ropes tied to the collars of two resisting goats, atop a naturalistic grass-like base, marked with blue underglazed factory mark, letter G, brown underglaze numeral 4., incised W.200. and impressed with numeral 48 under base; height including base: 24 cm (9 1/2 in.), length of base: 36 cm (14 1/8 in.)

CONDITION
The group is in overall good original condition, save for the rope. Miniscule chip to the tip of the black goat's left horn. Glue residue where the wire rope is inserted. Inspection under UV light does not show any apparent signs of inpainting.
