a) SCH GORELIK (GERMAN 1877-1942) and JOSEPH BUDKO (POLISH 1888-1940) artists, FRITZ GURLITT (GERMAN D. 1893) publisher, Judische Kopfe, published 1920, rectangular portfolio with cloth binding and boards measuring 30 x 24 cm (11 3/4 x 9 1/4 in.), includes four black and white lithographs, 113 pages including lithographs measuring 29 x 23 cm (11 3/8 x 9 in.). Text in German.
b) FRANS MASEREEL (FLEMISH 1889-1972) artist, for CARL STENHEIM (GERMAN 1878-1942) playwrite, (MUNCHEN (GERMAN FOUNDED 1980) publisher, Three Masks, published 1922, edition 40/100 rectangular portfolio with cloth binding and boards measuring 38.5 x 28.5 cm (15 1/8 x 11 1/4 in.), includes 16 woodcuts signed in pencil [of various sizes], 20 pages total measuring 38 x 27 cm (15 x 10 5/8 in.). c) CHRISTIAN MORGENSTERN (GERMAN 1871-1914) and HANS REYERSBACH (GERMAN 1898-1977) artists, KURT ENOCH (GERMAN 1895-1982) publisher, Zwolf Lithographien Zu Chr. Morgensterns Grotesken, bound in tan cloth lettered and decorate in dark brown with heavy string binding at spine rectangular portfolio measuring 32.5 x 24 cm (12 3/4 x 9 1/2 in.), edition 75/400, signed in pencil with edition, 12 plates each signed in pencil [of various sizes], 26 pages total measuring 31.5 x 22 cm (12 3/8 x 8 5/8 in.). CONDITION
The group appears in age-appropriate but fragile condition. Overall toning, foxing and wear to each portfolio. B Three Masks, with significant foxing and ageing visible to the interior of the portfolio the exterior with surface staining and losses to the cover.
