A George I silver mug, of tapering cylindrical form on spreading foot, later engraved with a crest of three 'Prince of Wales' feathers within a crown, within a rococo foliate cartouche, cast scroll handle, London 1724, makers mark of TT over a floret and under a crown for Thomas Tearle, 320 grms, 11cm high ** Provenance: Purchased from the Westbrook House Auction, Elstead, Surrey, Sotheby's 22 Sept 1995. The crest possibly the Fridag or Friday family crest.
