A George II / George III Irish sterling silver mug, Dublin circa 1760 by William Townsend (active 1726-75) Of baluster form upon a moulded circular foot, the leaf capped C scroll handle leading to a calked rim. The front engraved with a greyhound collared, above the initials KB in cursive script. Engraved initials underneath A.F in Roman script. Marked to the right of handle, lacking date letter, (Hibernia post-1754). Height – 10.6 cm / 4.2 inches Weight – 283 grams / 9.1 ozt
