The interior drawer with an applied 'B.F. Edwards Collection" sticker. In overall good, stable, attractive condition. Old scuffs, marks and scratches throughout consistent with age and use. The top with heavier surface scratching in upper-left corner. Having a filled age split to right side of top, lacking a paper-stop. The area where the paper-stop would have sat has been filled with a later piece of mahogany veneer. The locking mechanism to lift top is stuck, uncertain if top lifts up. Leather writing surfaces appear intact with some scuffs and indents to surface. Some stains to interior compartments. Additional images available upon request.
