A George III mahogany bachelor's chest of drawers, circa 1770, 82cm high, 87cm wide, 51cm deep Provenance: Private Collection, Berkshire Condition Report: Marks, knocks, scratches, abrasions consistent with age and use,Overall in need of a sympathetic clean and a polish, the surface dry all over, Handles appear to be original, The shield escutcheons appear to have been in-filled, and there are holes where others appear to have been, the top right drawer has had the lock removed and timber inserted, it is now baize lined (presumably for the storage of cutlery). the slide has been later baize lined tooThere are no keys present all drawers are open Please refer to additional images for visual reference to conditionCondition Report Disclaimer
