Campana form, the domed cover with a ribbon-tied laurel wreath finial and tongue and dart rim, the body with a flared rim, one side with a group of three horses in relief and the opposite side with an inscription above a fruiting vine scrolling band over a stippled ground, entwined branch handles with acorns and oak leaf embellishments, the lobed lower body on a pedestal stem and spreading foot, inscription reads 'Richmond Races 1819.
