A George III silver snuffers' tray.

A George III silver snuffers' tray, the beaded edge with foliate corner detail and raised on four shell feet, with further bead motifs to the handle. Hallmarked London 1769, with tentative attribution to Edmund Vincent. Length 7.75" (20cm), weight 7.9 ozt (245.8 grams).

Condition Report:
- Displaying some general surface wear, marks, scratches and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use.
- Centre of tray with engraved crest, this now heavily rubbed with significant loss of detail.
- Centre of tray also with many heavier scratched marks, minor surface nicks and 'pin prick' marks, and a couple of slight dints.
- Residues of sticker marks to base.
- Repairs around joins of feet, one in particular is at a slightly different angle to the others and leans more inwards.
- Stands fairly firm with just a very slight wobble.
- Hallmarks located to base, these in good order overall with some light rubbing.
