A George IV mahogany extending dining table

A George IV mahogany extending dining table, circa 1830, in the manner of Gillows, with Pembroke action and two additional leaf insertions, on reeded tapering legs terminating in brass caps and castors, 70cm high, 122cm wide, 126cm long (unextended)Condition Report: Marks, knocks, scratches, abrasions consistent with age and useThe two leaves are much darker in colour reflecting their lack of UV exposure compared with the ends. The ends are faded overall. One leaf with central split and crack running the full length. There is metal bracing to the underside to secure this. The frieze with wear and loss to the polish - this would overall benefit from a clean and a polish.The underside of the flaps with later timber wedges fitted to secure and hold in a 'flat' position.There are six table clips present - five of these fit well, one appears to be misshaped and protrudes. There are marks and stains, with some apparent attempts at colouring in Please refer to additional images for visual reference to conditionThe table is 70cm high, 122cm wide, 126cm long (unextended). the leaves are 61 and 63cm long respectively. the table ends have drop flaps, these are 33cm long respectively, this gives this table a large amount of adaptability.
