A George IV silver communion goblet, together with three late Victorian silver shell salts. (4).

A George IV silver communion goblet, the spreading base leading to a knopped stem, and bowl with silver-gilt interior, embossed to the whole with floral motifs and circular panel displaying IHS Christogram, hallmarked London 1823, with maker's mark I.B, height 3.5" (9 cm). Together with three late Victorian silver shell salts with silver-gilt interiors, each upon three feet modelled as stylised dolphin heads, hallmarked Hilliard & Thomason, Birmingham 1891. Gross weight 4.95ozt (154 grams). (4).

Condition Report:
- All pieces display some general surface wear, marks, scratches and tarnishing commensurate with age and use.

- The silver-gilt interior of the shell salts has rubbed away in areas, and there are residues of polish in the details.

- The hallmarks have partially rubbed on the shell salts, but remain legible. Whilst the hallmarks on the communion goblet are clear and legible.

- Condition reports are offered as a guide only and we highly recommend inspecting any lot to satisfy yourself as to its condition.
