A George IV silver cruet stand of square form, the oval scrolled handle leading to four circular bottle apertures containing four hexagonal cut-glass bottles, with fluted Corinthian columns supports to a square base with shell and gadrooned border, and raised upon four stylised feet. Hallmarked London 1823, with maker's mark WS, possibly William Sharp. Height 7.5" (9 cm), weight excluding glass bottles 10.6ozt (330 grams).
Condition Report:
- The stand appears in fairly good overall condition, with surface wear, marks, scratches and tarnishing commensurate with age and use.
- The item would benefit from a good clean and polish.
- The base can be detached via screws to the underside of the columns.
- The glass bottles are not original, two of the stoppers do not fit and one of the bottles has a large crack to the side.
