A George V ‘Arts and Crafts’ sterling silver teapot, Birmingham 1913 by William Hair Haseler Of tapering circular form upon a domed circular foot, the gently curved spout opposite a C scroll handle pinned to sockets. A hinged domed lid surmounted by a detachable wooden knop finial, the top section with a silver disc with punch work. The lid, foot, and side of teapot with a chased border of stylised organic decoration of repeating ellipses. Fully marked underneath, part-marked to the lid, also with additional Dutch tax mark. Length – 26 cm / 10.5 inches Weight – 533 grams / 17.14 ozt
