shaped oval and with shaped reeded rim and two reeded scroll handles, engraved with an inscription 59.5cm wide over handles, 90oz 12dwt, 2,818gr The inscription reads 'Presented to James M. Tankard Esq. J.P. by the Employees of James Tankard Ltd. on his retirement from the firm March 1924'.

Fully marked underneath and further engraved with retailers name. There is some overall surface scratching and wear, consistent with age and use.Slightly warped so does not sit flat when placed on a level surface.
