A German or Dutch all-metal flintlock pistol, circa 1640/50
Description: Two-stage smooth-bore barrel, octagonal then round, in 15 mm calibre. Hollow-forged shaft, the lock with an external frizzen spring. The cock mechanism with main spring, attached openly on the right side. Openwork butt cap. Iron ramrod inset below the barrel. Length 47 cm. A rare, early all-metal flintlock pistol, similar to those produced by Jan Cloeter of Düsseldorf.
