A Good Selection of Fine Embroidered and Lace Edged Household Linens, to include: a linen tablecloth with a central circular panel of 19th century Point de Venise needle lace and four corner insertions similar, these in the design of classical flower baskets. Drawn thread detail to the linen, finished with a six-inch border of Milanese tape lace. Approx. 46 inches of 117cm by 48 inches or 122cm; a handkerchief case with front flap worked with needle lace in the form of hearts and cartwheels, the initials "GDH in the centre; a nightdress case with hearts and cartwheels to match the previous item, edged with needle lace, the initials "DH" to the centre; a rectangular table mat worked with elaborate needle lace on fine lawn, with the addition of white embroidery, edged with a scalloped bobbin lace border; a fine rectangular cloth edged in bobbin lace, the central panel a square with insertions of Sol lace (Tenerife or Nanduti) and drawn thread work, this being repeated in concentric bands as it works out to the outer edge. Approx. 23.5 inches or 60cm by 25 inches or 64cm; two fine white embroidered lawn panels formed as a patchwork with inserted filet work, each filet panel depicting a figure or figures, with either mythological or arts significance, such as "abondance", "centaure", "esperance", "Ptolemee" (French spellings) cupid appearing in one panel. One panel approx. 25 inches or 63 cm by 58 inches or 104cm, the other 25.5 inches or 65cm by 62 inches or 157cm (differing widths of the lawn insertion; "20th century Linens and Lace", a hard-backed book by E. Scofield and P. Zalamea (8)

. Item 1, small area of light staining next to one flower basket. Filet panels both have wear to edges and some small holes.
