A Greek black-figure fragmentary lekythos

A Greek black-figure fragmentary lekythos, 6th Century BC, depicting a central seated figure flanked by dancers, grape vine strands between and a double dot border above. The shoulder is adorned with tongues, a band of dots and vertical lines on the base of the neck. H: 4 1/8 in (10.4 cm). Obvious losses but attractive. Ex UK private collection acquired in 1912 at local auction, thence by descent.
