(7) spoons with mark of Hester Bateman, London, including: a pair of tablespoons 1776 date marks (7 7/8 in.); tablespoon with 1827 date mark (8 3/4 in.); tablespoon without standard, duty, or date marks (8 1/4 in.); salt spoon and (2) demitasse spoons, both with 1787 date marks. Also included is a tablespoon with mark of Peter & Jonathan Bateman, London, 1790 date mark, with later Victorian design enhancements (8 3/4 in.). Victorian enhanced tablespoon without monogram, all others with period monograms.
