20th century, rectangular forms including two smaller hand-laquered examples with removable lids, labeled by Pacific Connections, San Francisco to interior (1 1/2 x 6 1/2 x 4 1/2 in.); a burlwood hinged box with arched lid, unmarked (2 1.2 x 7 1.2 x 5 in.); a Gentili Fabrizio inlaid lacquered wood box with divided suede interior, made in Italy, labeled to interior and underside (2 3/4 x 10 3/4 x 5 1/4 in.).
The Estate of the late Frank Daniels, Jr. and his wife Julia Jones Daniels, Raleigh, North Carolina. A portion of the sale proceeds will be donated to the North Carolina Museum of History Foundation
