China, late Qing Dynasty (1644-1912) to Republic period (1912-1949). Of flattened hexagonal form, rising from a rectangular foot to a slender cylindrical neck, applied with a glaze of rich crimson-red color thinning to white at the rim and edges, the base unglazed.
Condition: Good condition with minor surface scratches and kiln grit to base.
Provenance: Hungarian private collection, according to the current owner acquired from a Swiss private collection in 2000.
