dating: 1844 provenance: Naples, Wide, curved, single-and false-edged blade with large, central fuller, first part finely engraved with trophies and floral motifs. Tang signed and dated '1844 Napoli Labruna'. Iron hilt with six loop-guards, long, smooth cap, checkered in the lower part; wooden grip covered with fish skin and metallic wire binding; iron scabbard with two suspension rings on thin bands. Complete with clutches and sword-knot. length 101 cm.
