A Hand-Painted Propeller Fragment
Section of wooden propeller taken from a WWI aircraft, modified for display. Blades have been shortened and brass plates attached with names engraved on each end. Front of propeller has hand-painted circular artwork attached showing WWI air battle. Small door with hinge and hook closure cut into bottom edge. Propeller marked "GEPRÃœFT", "FL7". Ca. 92 x 25 x 14.5 cm. A wonderful piece for an aviation collector.
