A JAMES I STAINED GLASS PANEL EARLY 17TH CENTURYWith central motif of a merchant's ship, cartouche above inscribed "1614", motto below "Ventis Secundis" (a favourable wind or an aft-wind), within later clear glass panel surround and lead frame69 x 50cms overallTOGETHER WITH ANOTHER ARMORIAL STAINED GLASS PANEL17TH CENTURYWithin similar later framing69 x 50cm (2) Please note: the right hand image in the catalogue has been photographed back to front, the text/date therefore appears in reverse when looking at the photograph.Condition Report: Marks, knocks, scratches and abrasions commensurate with age and use.Some sections of glass with the expected wear, fading and scratches.The clear glass panel surround and lead frame are late 19th century additions.The armorial stained glass panel with some cracked glass panels (please see images)Some later replaced glass sections painted to match the design.Both stained glass panels with various old repairs - securing lead dividers added where required.The armorial stained glass panel lead frame with some warping and movement.Please see additional images for reference to condition.Condition Report Disclaimer
