Dakota/Nakoda, (b. 1969), constructed of soft hide, aligning a quilled central three-pointed feather design with horned elements above a Morning Star, flanked by bullet wound motifs on one side, horse tracks opposite, ochre, red and blue pigment highlights, a beaded box-and-band frame encircling the composition, fringe about the perimeter of the pouch, with beaded and silk ribbon drop accents and strung bead double strap handle, signed and dated in ink verso.
