A KARACHOV RUG approximately 193 x 106cm Condition Report: Some wear to rug overall.Additional wear reveals underlying weft and loose strands in places. Stitched repair to one end border (approximately 12cm long). Various old stitched repairs and sections of replacement to central field and boarders (see images for details). Some abrash and variation to colour fields. Undulation to all edges. Longest edges appear to have been re-bound at some point. They are generally tidy but have some sections of wear, small losses and fraying. Tasselled ends with the expected wear, fraying and losses.
