A KORO IN A SHAPE OF KABUTO

The bronze koro (censer) is modelled after a kabuto helmet and has two openings, a round and a sickle-shaped hole on each side to release the smoke. The front side of the kabuto has a gilded maedate attached to it. The rounded square body stands on feet formed as shikoro. The underside with a Chinese Xuande reign mark.

Condition: Good condition with some nicks, abrasion on the bottom side and gold leave scaling.
