A KULA PRAYER RUG TURKISH, EARLY 19TH CENTURY approximately 182 x 123cm Condition Report: Rug with heavy wear overall. Underlying weft visible throughout. Various old stitched repairs. Section of replacement to central field (approximately 18 x 4cm). Section of replacement to one corner (approximately 10 x 7cm). Longest edges have been re-bound. Fringing is short at both ends and has wear, fraying and losses. The fringing has moved into the main pile slightly and later thread has been used to secure both ends.
