The compressed globular body cast with a recessed band encircling its middle, surmounted by a short neck decorated with a honeycomb diaper and flanked by a pair of curved upright handles, all supported on three cabriole legs issuing from the mouths of mythical beast heads, the low domical cover pierced with three coin motifs and surmounted by a hollow seated qilin open to the inside of the cover to allow incense smoke to emit from its open mouth (cover repaired).
