A LATE 19TH CENTURY OAK CASED MANTEL CLOCK, the architectural case carved with corinthian columns and with steel chapter ring and Roman numerals, and subsidiary steel regulation and 'Silent/Chime' and the 8 day movement striking on the hour, half and quarter hours, the backplate pierced brass with interior fabric covering, the movement stamped W & H Sch' for Winterhalder and Hofmeier of Schwarzenbach Germany, circa 1890. Dim: 42 x 28 x 18 cm. With key and pendulum.
