China, 1780-1880. Reasonably well hollowed, the tapering ovoid body rising from a flat oval foot to a short cylindrical neck. The semi-translucent stone of a pale lavender and emerald-green tone with white veins.

Provenance: From a private American snuff bottle collection.
Condition: Very good condition with only minor wear, tiny nibbles to neck, the stone with natural fissures, some of which may have developed into small hairline cracks over time.
