A LIMOGES PORCELAIN CHOCOLATE SET CIRCA 1890. Comprising a 14-piece Limoges porcelain chocolate set, the white porcelain cups, saucers, serving tray and pot with extensive gilt decoration. It is possible that the pot is a marriage to this particular set, however the tray, cups and underplates all are unquestionably matched. The tray 16 inches (40 cm) together with a very fine, pierced handled porcelain serving tray, with hand-painted flowers and indistinguishable blue underglaze crown mark and impressed shield mark beneath 6-pointed star. Width 15 inches.
