Painted in underglaze blue, the show side with a floral composition surrounded by geometrical patterns and drop-shaped reserves enclosing repeated designs of plants and symbols. The lobed rim, like the pointed end of a lotus bud, glazed in a brown hue.
DIAMETER 18 cm
Condition: Very good condition with only two microscopic chips to rim.
Provenance: Holzapfel collection, Geneva, Switzerland. This lot was acquired by a third-generation member of the Holzapfel family after 1995 and has remained in the family ever since.
