(A) LOT OF TWO COLT CIVIL WAR PERCUSSION REVOLVERS

Lot consists of (A) Colt Model 1860 Army made in 1862. Standard 3 screw configuration. All matching numbers. Loading lever, catch, wedge and wedge retaining screw are modern restorations. Single line New York address. Cartouches on grips and inspectors marks on metal. CONDITION: Retains a pleasing patina overall. Markings are clear. Grips are good with dings and handling marks, showing wear. Actions functions well, although the mainspring is very weak. (B) 1861 Navy, made in 1862. Standard configuration. Sub-inspectors marks on metal parts. Falls in the martial range. Cartouche is no longer present on the left grip which appears to have had initials or a name carved into it at one time. Single line New York address. CONDITION: Retains a pleasing patina overall with rust and pitting. Markings are clear. Cylinder scene is worn. The cylinder does not advance when the hammer is cocked, needs work on the hand. Grips are worn with loss on the left side.
