A Large Sèvres Style Porcelain Napoleonic Vase and Pedestal

signed H. Desprez Sèvres to the body.
Height of vase 30 1/4 inches.

The hand-painted vase detached from base, and base from pedestal (in three parts). The vase in overall good and stable condition with some crazing to the porcelain surface. Light rubbing and loss to gilt decoration around the neck and to the base. Some verdigris in the crevices of the mount at the base of the body of the urn. One of the metal feet detached from the base of the pedestal, but retained. The pedestal overall stable. The marble having some discoloration from abrasion and inclusions. Examination under UV light shows no evidence of restoration or repair. Signed H. Desprez Sèvres to the body. Height of pedestal 41 1/4 x width of top 11 7/8 x depth 11 7/8 inches.
