Condition Report: In overall fine and stable condition. The paint retaining a fairly even color though areas of scratching and loss throughout consistent with age, use and handling. Age cracks visible in areas. The paint is likely original to the piece, or it is possible it is an early 20th century alteration. The drawer bottom is replaced. Old chip loss along the bottom of the proper back right edge of the case, possibly a manufacturing flaw.
