In overall fine and stable condition. Retains a fairly even color and finish throughout. Old scuffs, marks and scratches consistent with age and use. Areas of small losses to the veneer visible, in particular to the edges of the lid and the case. There are few age cracks visible, but some causing lifting or loss to the veneer. Discoloration to the interior writing surface consistent with use.
